God's Glory

"God is more glorious than the moon;
He shines brighter than the stars."
Job 25:5

None of us can truly comprehend God's splendour and magnificence. His glory is more radiant than anything we have seen here on earth. He is more glorious than the moon against the blackness of the darkest night and He is brighter than any star in the vast universe.

In other words, compared to God's glory, even the moon and the stars are dull.

The Bible states that when God spoke to Abraham on the Mount of Sinai, He told him that no man on earth can live and see the face of God.

"But you may not look directly at my face,
for no one may see Me and live."
Exodus 33:20

It is only when we finally reach Heaven we will totally comprehend all of God's glory, love, peace, grace, and goodness. Such a revelation on earth would be too much for our mortal bodies to bear. We would painfully long to be with Him in Heaven and dread our lives here on earth.

The fullness of God's glory is beyond our imagination and has yet be revealed to us.
