After the church service upstairs was over last Sunday, I told the children to gather their things and be prepared to leave because their parents would soon be picking them up. One girl then turned to me and sadly said, "It is too bad that church is over now." I smiled at the sweetness of her heart. The week before last Sunday, we had a guest speaker and the church service lasted almost an hour longer. I guess she was hoping it would be like that every Sunday.
How the heart of God must be pleased to see children eager to learn the wonderful things in His Word. Their eyes are open and may ours be as well.
