It is easy for a Christian and the Church to get distracted and loose focus like Martha did. When Jesus was visiting at Martha's house, nothing else should have mattered because the Son of God was in her home. What Martha should have done was prepare the meal ahead of time, so she wouldn't miss out in one second of being with Jesus. Christians falter and ministry fails when we get distracted: when our eyes are not on Jesus, when our ears are not tuned to His voice, and when we are not sitting humbly at His feet.
