The Joy Of The Lord Is Your Strength!

There are many faithful wives — several who I know personally — who, in the years since marrying, have never received a bouquet of flowers, a surprise gift, a planned date invitation, or a compliment from their husbands. Some have never even heard the words, "I love you", or "I'm sorry" from these men who once, long ago, declared their love to them.

These women suffer silently while their self-esteem deteriorates and depression sets in their hearts. In many ways, their lives become a living death. They try to hide their sorrow, but is it plain for all to see. You see it in their eyes, in their expressions, and in their mannerisms. Once, these women were happy and full of life. Now they are despondent and full of disappointments. Happiness is lost to dreams and joy fades beyond imagination.

But, praise God! His joy is never far away! His joy is real and can be your strength no matter who you are, where you are, or what is going on in your life. As His beloved children and heirs of His Kingdom, you can always have access to the joy of the Lord.

Life may come with many disappointments, but God will never disappoint you. You can have His joy at all times throughout your life.
