Like Calves Let Out To Pasture

When my son Tim had an ultrasound of his abdomen yesterday, the technician discovered something abnormal with his spleen and called in a radiologist to view the imagines. The radiologist asked some questions and took some more pictures. Tim left the hospital not exactly sure what they saw that concerned them. He will probably have to wait until September 27th during his review appointment with his specialist to find out.

Today he has a break from all the testing, but they resume again tomorrow with a lactose tolerance test, as well as more blood tests. Then Sunday and Monday he will have to prepare for a colonoscopy, which is on Tuesday.

Having medical tests isn't any fun, but waiting for the results is much harder! However, God our Father said that if we fear His Name, then His Son, Jesus Christ, the Righteous One, will rise like the morning sun with healing power in His wings, setting us free to leap for joy like calves let out to green pastures under a crystal blue canopy.

"But for you who fear My Name,

the Sun of Righteousness will rise

with healing in His wings,

and you will go free,

leaping with joy

like calves let out to pasture."
