No Mind Has Conceived

For two of the three full days we were in Leavenworth, Brian and I went snowmobiling. It was glorious! We never wanted those days to end. The hours in those days went by like minutes. The incredible winter scenery we saw and experienced deep in the forest made it seem we were in a chimerical paradise. It was as if we were in a different world, a world that was perfect, pure, untouched, and serene.

It wasn't long into snowmobiling that I became lost in my sublime thoughts and feelings and wondered, "Is this a glimpse of what heaven will be like?"

The Bible says that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has conceived what God has prepared for us.

"No eye has seen,

no ear has heard,

no mind has conceived

what God has prepared

for those who love Him."

1 Corinthians 2:9 (NIV)

Although at times we may marvel at the earth's beauty, our temporal home here is nothing compared to the eternal home God has prepared for us in Heaven.
