In Cody, Wyoming, clusters of bright yellow sunflower-like flowers grew abundantly and freely. They are called Arrowleaf Balsam Root Wildflowers. They are the Lord's!
They decorated the sides of the country roads.
The Native Americans valued these flowers because they used their roots for medicine to treat pain, burns, insect bites, wounds, and colds.
This is my favourite picture because I was able to capture a honey bee sucking nectar from one of them. The bee is the Lord's too!
