Even The Kindest Acts Are Cruel

When Brian and I stopped at a popular viewpoint, I took pictures of the chipmunks. (I don't remember what the view looked like.) At the time, these chipmunks were being fed candy-coated peanuts by dim-witted tourists.

Many of the chipmunks were obese. The fattest one pictured below, I couldn't believe at first he was a chipmunk. He was huge!

This fat chipmunk was getting more attention and pictures taken than the view. Apparently, he has become a famous tourist attraction. How sad!

In God's Word, He tells us to care for the needs of the animals, and overfeeding animals so that they become obese is cruel.

"The righteous care for the needs of their animals,

but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel."
