Jacob in the Bible loved Rachel so much that he was willing to work for her father for seven years before he could take her as his wife. And the Bible says those seven years seemed like only a few days to Jacob.
So Jacob served seven years to get Rachel,
but they seemed like only a few days to him
because of his love for her."
Genesis 29:20 (NIV)
Jacob's willingness to wait for Rachael with joyous anticipation in his heart proved his love for her was pure for true love waits.
