"A Daisy A Day"
As Christians, we are told by God to encourage one another daily, not just once in a while. Even if we have to correct a sin or a wrong attitude, we do so using encouraging words, not harsh condemning ones. Otherwise, hearts will harden all the more by sin's deceitfulness.
"But encourage one another daily,
as long as it is called "Today,"
so that none of you
may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness."
Hebrews 3:13 (NIV)
We are to think of encouraging ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. Manipulation, control, and negative words are not going to be effective, but rather counter-productive.
"Let us think of ways to motivate one another
to acts of love and good works.
And let us not neglect
our meeting together,
as some people do,
but encourage one another,
especially now
that the day of His return
is drawing near."
Hebrews 10:24-5 (NLT)
The day of the Lord is drawing near. Let us not waste any time, nor do or say anything in a tone of voice or ungodly manner that turns people away from God instead of towards Him.
