Arctic wolves live in the the extreme harsh and remote areas of the world where man does not live. Therefore, the population of these wolves is not threatened like other species of wolves today.
Like all wolves, Arctic wolves are fierce hunters. Their main weapon is their 42 sharp teeth. (But one would never know that by looking at these two pictured above, sleeping peacefully at the Edmonton Valley Zoo.)
The Bible says that when Jesus comes to reign upon this earth in all His peace and tranquility, even the lambs will live in safety with the wolves.
"The wolf will live with the lamb,
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling together;
and a little child will lead them."
Isaiah 11:6 (NIV)
Until Christ comes, we can only imagine what it will be like to live under the reign of Jesus, where we will no longer know fear or feel the distress of anxiety.
