Whenever my cat Osha has a stomach ache from eating inedible things in the house, he will lay for hours on the stairs to ease his discomfort. Osha never learns. He will eat anything without giving any thought to his stomach.
A prudent person (or cat) foresees danger and takes precautions, but the simpleton, (or Osha) goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.
