My son's bird spends most of the day looking at himself in his toy mirror. It is a good thing the bird doesn't have a cell phone or he would be constantly taking selfies.
It is sad that so many people today are also obsessed with their appearance and their worldly possessions. They don't realize the only way to true happiness and beauty is through God's Word. God's Word is what gives us life. Everything else is worthless. Why settle for things of no value when they can have the pearl of great price?
"Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant
on the lookout for choice pearls.
When he discovered a pearl of great value,
he sold everything he owned
