If It Is Unwholesome, Don't Say It

One of the things preventing a church from fulfilling God's Great Commission is the frequent unreasonable and ill-mannered criticisms towards the leaders of a church. As a result many good leaders of God become disheartened and give up, or loose their focus by trying to please the people, instead of God.

The Bible says we are not to let any unwholesome talk come out of our mouths, but only what is helpful and beneficial to build each other up.

"Do not let any unwholesome talk

come out of your mouths,

but only what is helpful

for building others up

according to their needs,

that it may benefit those who listen."

Ephesians 4:29 (NIV)

Harmful talk is a tool of Satan to distract God's people from doing His will and tear it down.
