Last Sunday, a little girl excitedly came up to me to give me a card that she had made. On the card she drew a picture of the two of us with these words above it, "Jesus loves us all."
This eight-year old girl comes from a single parent home. Her mother is not a Christian and her father who lives far away does not provide any financial support for her or her two sisters. She may not have the love of an earthly father, but she knows she has the love of a Heavenly One.
"For God so loved the world
that He gave His one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him
shall not perish
but have eternal life."
