Nothing Will Separate God's Love From Believers!

The Bible point for Day 4 of "Sky" VBS is: "No matter what happens, trust God!"

None of us knows the future — only God does. We don't know if, tomorrow, a natural disaster will strike our land, killing many and leaving the survivors homeless; if our country will suffer a severe economic recession, causing thousands of jobs to be lost, homes foreclosed, and families bankrupt; or if there will be a terrorist attack. However, amongst all of these uncertainties, we can be certain of one thing: that we can always trust God no matter what happens in our world around us.

The Bible verse that the leaders will encourage the children to memorize to support Day 4's Bible point is found in Romans 8:38. For this blog, however, I will quote verses 36 to 39.

"As it is written: 'For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.'
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life,
neither angels nor demons,
neither the present nor the future,
nor any powers,
neither height nor depth,
nor anything else in all creation,
will be able to separate us from the love of God
that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

After Jesus ascended into Heaven, His disciples and apostles faced death on a daily basis as they continued to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ amid heavy persecution. However, the Apostle Paul said that no matter what happens, nothing, absolutely nothing! could separate him or other believers from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus their Lord. Praise God that this fact still holds true for all of us today!
