The Hand Of The Lord Has Done This

We arrived in Anchorage, Alaska at noon, Saturday. In the early evening, we had time to visit the Alaska Zoo. The zoo had the majority of Alaska's wildlife available for one to view while walking through an enchanting forest with carpeted trails of autumn leaves, wooden bridges, and cedar-split-rail fences. Here are some of my favourite pictures of this zoo.

Every animal teaches us, every bird tells us, and every fish informs us that the hand of God has created them. The life of every creature on earth is in God's hands, and so is the breath of all mankind.

"But ask the animals, and they will teach you,
or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;
or speak to the earth, and it will teach you,
or let the fish in the sea inform you.
Which of all these does not know
that the hand of the Lord has done this?
In His hand is the life of every creature
and the breath of all mankind."
Job 12:7-10 (NIV)

Look at the earth, the animals, the birds, and the fish, for they reveal the handiwork of a mighty and wondrous God!
