As the snow melts, the garbage hidden during the cold winter months is being exposed. It is the same with our hearts. When the Holy Spirit is invited into our hearts, He begins to soften and melt them, revealing the garbage within.
"And I will give you a new heart,
and I will put a new spirit in you.
I will take out your stony, stubborn heart
and give you a tender, responsive heart."
Ezekiel 36:26 (NLT)
The Holy Spirit then cleanses our hearts and makes them new.
