Only An Arm's Length Away

When Peter walked on the water towards Jesus, Peter was in reaching distance to Jesus when he began to sink. In other words, Peter was so close to obtaining his miracle from God when he began to doubt.

"So Peter went over the side of the boat
and walked on the water toward Jesus.
But when he saw the strong wind and the waves,
he was terrified and began to sink.
'Save me, Lord!' he shouted.
Jesus immediately reached out and grabbed him.
'You have so little faith,' Jesus said.
'Why did you doubt me?'"
Matthew 14:29b-31 (NLT)

I sometimes wonder how many times we are like Peter. We give up believing in our miracle when we were so close to God fulfilling it.
