When I went for my evening walk, these two male and female geese grabbed my attention because they were honking so loudly while strolling along the shore of the island that is located in the middle of the lake. .
The female geese has probably already laid her eggs on the island.
Canadian geese are considered one of the most talkative animals. Apparently the parents even communicate with their goslings while they are still in the egg. Since these geese were not in any imminent danger, they were not honking to warn other geese. They must have been honking out of sheer happiness because they are soon going to be parents to a brood of cute fluffy yellow goslings. After all, children are a reward from the Lord and God blessed the animals to reproduce as well.
