How Beautiful Are the Feet Of God's Messengers!

Each child of God has a personal relationship with his/her Heavenly Father and has set apart Jesus Christ as Lord in his/her own heart. However, there is more: every Christian must continually be prepared to gently and respectfully share his/her faith with others, so that they may have the same hope as him/her.

"But in your hearts
set apart Christ as Lord.
Always be prepared to give an answer
to everyone who asks you to give the reason
for the hope that you have.
But do this with gentleness and respect."
1 Peter 3:15 (NLT)

Every Christian is called by God to be a messenger who brings Good News, otherwise those who do not know God will never know the truth and believe in Him.

"But how can they call on Him
to save them unless they believe in Him?
And how can they believe in Him
if they have never heard about Him?
And how can they hear about Him
unless someone tells them?
And how will anyone go and tell them
without being sent?
That is why the Scriptures say,
'How beautiful are the feet of messengers
who bring Good News!'"
Romans 10:14-15 (NLT)

And if anyone believes in God's Son, he/she will experience eternal life and no longer be under God's angry judgement. But, if anyone doesn't obey the Son, he/she will be condemned to spend eternity in hell.

"And anyone who believe in God's Son
has eternal life.
Anyone who doesn't obey the Son
will never experience eternal life
but remains under God's angry judgment."
John 3:36 (NLT)

It is God's will that everyone be saved and understand the truth.

"Who wants everyone to be saved
and to understand the truth."
1 Timothy 2:4 (NLT)

Therefore, it should be the desire of every Christian's heart to share the gospel of Jesus Christ to all who will listen, and to never be ashamed of proclaiming this Good News about Christ to others. A Christian who shared his/her faith allows God's power to work to save those who have yet to believe.

"For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ.
It is the power of God at work,
saving everyone who believes."
Romans 1:16 (NLT)
