Birds, Woodpeckers, Squirrels And Guns

Today we hiked up Lion Mountain.

The snow covered forest was beautiful to behold . . .

. . . with the sounds of chirping birds, peeking woodpeckers, chittering squirrels, . . .

. . . and popping guns. (Someone could be heard target shooting in the near distance.)

The gunshots were a reminder we were no longer in Canada.

But no matter where we are, it is God who directs the snow to fall on the earth, reminding us of His purity and grace.

"He directs the snow to fall on the earth,
and tells the rain to fall down."
Job 37:6 (NIV)
