It Is The Same With My Word

We got our first heavy snowfall: around 24 centimetres.

The farmers are happy because once the snow melts, the ground will have the necessary moisture for planting season. Up until now, the winter has been dry with very little precipitation. Although this is great for drivers and snow shovellers, it isn't so good for farmers, nursery owners, and gardeners. God saw the need and sent snow from the heavens.

"The rain and snow come down from the heavens
and stay on the ground to water the earth.
They cause the grain to grow,
producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry.
It is the same with My Word.
I send it out, and it always produces fruit.
It will accomplish all I want it to,
and it will prosper everywhere I send it."
Isaiah 55:10-11 (NLT)

And just as God sends the rain and the snow from the heavens to water the earth, causing the grain to grow and to feed the people, God sends His Word from Heaven to touch the hearts of the people, causing them to grow spiritually and to produce good fruit in their lives.
