The Bible Is Our Shining Star

"When they had heard the king,

they departed; and, lo,

the star, which they saw in the east,

went before them, til it came

and stood over where the young child was.

When they saw the star, they rejoiced

with exceeding great joy."

New Hope Kids on Wednesday nights are learning about Jesus. This week they will learn about the Bethlehem star. And just like the light of the star showed the wise men how to find Jesus hundreds of years ago, so does the light of God's Word show us how to find Jesus today.

"Your Word is a lamp to my feet

and a light for my path."

The Bible is our shining star! Let us rejoice with exceeding great joy when we read God's Word just as the wise men did when they saw and followed their star.
