Since God Brought You To Our Hearts

My sons and I are once again in the middle of preparations as we look forward to leading the children's worship, acting out the dramas, and, in general, helping out with the Vacation Bible School at our old home church in Kamloops, BC, this summer. We enjoy so much seeing all the people there we love so much! It is also great to see the physical and spiritual growth of the children we have had the privilege to minister to in the past. Many of these children are now leaders in the Vacation Bible School, and two are extra special to me as I used to babysit them when I lived in Kamloops four years ago.

Just like Paul, my sons and I always have these children in our hearts, and we have not stopped praying for God to fill them with the knowledge of His will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that they may live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God.

"For this reason,

since the day we heard about you,

we have not stopped praying for you.

We continually ask God

 to fill you with

the knowledge of His will

through all the wisdom

and understanding that the Spirit gives,

so that you may live a life

worthy of the Lord

and please Him in every way:

bearing fruit in every good work,

growing in the knowledge of God, . . ."
